A sad card

I have been asked to make a really sad card, its for a lady who had a miscarrage but had to give birth - omg how do you deal with that! And what sort of card do you make!
I was told that they wanted the babies name on it and they wanted a rainbow. So here is what I came up with.

The papers are from Sassy Design and the rainbow (get me!) I have managed to cut out with Craft Artist Studio and use as a embellishment, I had added his name and added a shadow effect under it too - I have then resized the cloud at the bottom and stamped my Tilda Baby on it. I have also added lots of stickles too - he as been coloured with promarkers and flex markers too.

  3. Sweetie let me tell you from someone who went through this at the age of 16 that this is a gorgeous card, if I had received something like this shug I would still have it now. I am so sorry for the couple who have lost their baby I really am I know the heartache it causes. I was 6 months pregnant when it happened to me & I remember him last it was yesterday. The following year I had another little baby boy at 8 months but sady he died a day later in my arms. I wouldn't wish this anguish on anyone.
Their hearts will be touched with this card sweetie.

    Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

  5. What a beautiful card for such a sad occasion, I love how you have done the name I was looking for ages before finishing your post thinking how you had done it. I am sure that this card will be treasure by the recipients as a lot of thought has gone into it. My thoughts are with them at this time.
